Why Mifos?
Al Majmoua chose Mifos because it had a flexibility that they couldn’t find in any other system – this flexibility was important for them to have a supportive MIS in reaching their goals.
Al Majmoua’s previous MIS was based on a decentralized architecture where they had to send daily loan applications through emails. This was a major problem and a big waste of time. The ease of access and centralized data in Mifos helped significantly in improving this issue. Data is entered live on an ongoing basis, improving all of their processes, and introducing a layer of data quality checking that they previously didn’t have before.

Al Majmoua’s top priority is to deliver the best service to their clients. Mifos will be a big part in supporting this goal by helping in reducing the cost of delivering that service.
Since implementing Mifos, Al Majmoua improved their data quality by 70 to 80%, speeding up the flow of information across their organization in the following ways:
