COSM is looking to continue partnerships with other foundations and strategic partners to carry forward the groundbreaking progress that Grameen Foundation initiated with Mifos.

	Funders
	Previous funders who helped to launch and cultivate Mifos as an initiative within Grameen Foundation include:
	Omidyar Network was one of the first funders of the Mifos Initiative, helping to spur the initial development of the platform, launch the community, and implement Mifos at a set of lighthouse customers.
	Hivos directly funded Grameen Foundation’s efforts in 2007 to cultivate the local community in Sub-Saharan Africa, sponsoring a workshop bringing together MFIs and Specialists in Nairobi, Kenya.
	Rockdale Foundation funded development and deployment of Mifos at our first customer in the MENA region, enda inter-arabe in Tunisia.
	The Cisco Foundation has awarded numerous grants to the Grameen Foundation focusing on technical enhancements to the Mifos platform. Their support funded the integration of Mifos with the PPI, M-Pesa integration, and more. They have helped Mifos drive transformative increases in scale, innovation, sustainability, and social impact of MFIs around the world.
	The MasterCard Foundation helped Grameen Foundation grow their Technology for Microfinance Initiative and prove out the value and impact of technology through the Mifos platform. Seeking to scale and strengthen growing MFIs, Grameen Foundation measured technology impact through an in-depth ROI model demonstrating to the sector the importance of investing in core back-end systems.
	Strategic Partners
	IBM partnered with Grameen Foundation to contribute nearly $2 million in-kind software contributions spread throughout engineers across three continents to help scale the Mifos platform, taking it to the next level. IBM helped usher in a new phase of development following the initial version of Mifos, increasing the platform’s robustness and scalability. IBM’s professional services staff also helped on the ground with rollout of Mifos at Grameen Koota in India. 	SunGard Global Services delivers business consulting, technology and professional services for financial services firms, energy organizations and corporations.SunGard has worked closely with the Mifos team on a number of key technology projects. They have made significant contributions to improving scalability of Mifos through performance testing, and providing technical consulting for Mifos customers. SunGard and Grameen Foundation executed on a strategic volunteer agreement in which SunGard dedicated a team of engineers and consulting professionals to work with Grameen Foundation’s Mifos team and their customers.
	In-Kind Donors
	Atlassian is committed to supporting open source projects and non-profit organizations. They generously donated complimentary licenses of JIRA Studio to the Mifos Initiative. The fully hosted instances of JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools form our MifosForge, the backbone of our development community.
	Over the years we’ve turned to Monster Design numerous times for their crisp, clean , and professional branding and web design. The beautiful design of the Community for Open Source Microfinance logo gracing this website was generously donated by their team.
	We use SugarCRM to help us stay in touch with Mifos users and track the many individuals and organizations that participate in our community. SugarCRM has graciously donated complimentary licenses of their SugarProfessional On Demand.
